Staff Psychotherapist - Accepting New Clients
She, Her, Hers
Psychotherapy fee: $155. Sliding scale available.
Stephanie’s interest in perinatal mental health was precipitated by her own journey into motherhood. She is familiar with the ups and downs that come with the new role of parenthood and is honored to support other families with this life transition.
Stephanie also holds a deep passion for supporting families who are experiencing infertility and/or are navigating assisted reproductive technologies to build their family. Stephanie understands the heartache and stigma that infertility carries, as she has experienced this herself.
Stephanie approaches therapy through a person-centered lens. She believes that each client holds profound wisdom and strives to provide a safe container in which clients feel safe, seen, valued, and ultimately empowered to unveil and illuminate their inner luminosity and insight.
Stephanie also has training in EMDR and enjoys utilizing this method in her work with clients.
Stephanie's previous experience includes supporting families involved in the child welfare system. Her role included helping families connect to community and mental health resources as well as providing interventions to help prevent removal and support reunification. It was in this role that Stephanie first witnessed the benefits of adequate access to mental health for families.
Stephanie’s commitment to self-care includes spending time with her family, nature walks, caring for her many houseplants, cut-flower gardening, and pottery.
