Stephanie’s interest in perinatal mental health began through her own journey into motherhood. Having personally experienced many of the emotional shifts, challenges, and joys that can accompany becoming a parent, she feels honored to support individuals and families through this transformative season of life.

She also holds a deep passion for supporting those navigating infertility and reproductive challenges. Stephanie understands that infertility can carry profound grief, uncertainty, isolation, and stigma. Drawing from both personal and professional understanding, she provides compassionate support for individuals and couples navigating fertility concerns, assisted reproductive technologies, and the emotional complexities of building a family.

Stephanie approaches therapy through a person-centered lens, believing that each client possesses deep wisdom, resilience, and capacity for growth. She strives to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel seen, valued, and empowered to reconnect with their own strengths, insight, and sense of self. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change often begins when people feel genuinely understood.

In addition to her work in perinatal and reproductive mental health, Stephanie has completed training in EMDR and enjoys incorporating this evidence-based approach into therapy when appropriate. EMDR can be especially helpful for clients processing trauma, distressing experiences, or emotional patterns that continue to impact their daily lives.

Prior to joining Parent & Family Wellness Center, Stephanie worked with families involved in the child welfare system. In this role, she helped families access community resources, strengthen support systems, and navigate challenges related to family stability and reunification. This experience deepened her appreciation for the importance of accessible mental health care and continues to inform her compassionate, family-centered approach.

Outside of the therapy room, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her family, taking nature walks, caring for her many houseplants, tending her cut-flower garden, and creating pottery.
