PSYCHOTHERAPY

We have a robust team of mental health clinicians with varying levels of experience offering psychotherapy at a variety of price points. All of us have specialized training and expertise in reproductive, perinatal, and early family wellness. We are dedicated to supervision and mentorship, and we hold ourselves to the highest standards of care for all of our clients. 

FEES:

Individual Therapy: ranges from $88-$230

Family or couples counseling: ranges from $177-250

Parent coaching: $457 for the first 90 minute session; $250 for subsequent sessions

Medical Evaluations w/ one of our psychiatric prescribers: $250 - private pay rate

Medication Management: $150 - private pay rate

We have clinicians on our team who are able to accept some forms of Medicaid, Aetna, Anthem/BCBS, Cigna, and United Healthcare. For private pay families, we are able to support you with your out-of-network billing needs by checking your coverage and supplying you with superbills. 

We accept payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card. HSA and Flex spending accounts (FSA) are also accepted. CareCredit may be available in certain situations.

Note: A credit card will be required to schedule an appointment and will be used to pay your session fees unless otherwise arranged.

PSYCHOTHERAPY

We serve both private-pay clients as well as those who are insured by Kaiser, Medicaid, Anthem/Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare. For out-of-network (OON) clients, our clinic will happily inform you on how you can provide OON superbill submissions. Additionally, FSA and HSA cards can be used to pay for OON sessions as well as co-pays. In fact, some clients have up to 80% of their sessions reimbursed, depending upon their specific OON coverage. Still, the Parent and Family Wellness Center is not responsible for the timely manner of your insurance company’s reimbursements. Reimbursements for OON coverage must be paid directly to you, the client.

Please note:Though we are in network with several insurance companies, the Parent and Family Wellness Center can not guarantee coverage or benefits implied through those insurance companies or the speed of reimbursement. Nor do we have the means to negotiate or communicate with your insurance company on your behalf. Ultimately, it is clients’ responsibility to determine coverage if/when insurance companies decline payment.

MULTI-DISCIPLINARY SERVICES

Like our psychotherapists, our partner providers can also provide superbills for your out-of-network reimbursement. In addition, our lactation consultant and acupuncturist are in-network with several insurance companies. Please connect with them directly for more information.

Appointment scheduling involves the reservation of time especially for you, therefore, it is important to provide at least 48 hours’ notice by phone directly to your clinician should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment; otherwise the full fee will be charged. We expect to make exceptions to this policy for anything that can be reasonably called an “emergency.”

For in-network therapy sessions, late cancellations and missed appointments will be charged at the therapist’s full fee. In these cases, the client/patient’s credit card on file will be charged unless alternative arrangements are made.

The Parent and Family Wellness Center does not provide emergency services. If you are in an emergency, dial 911.

Telephone messages are typically returned during business hours. We check voicemail frequently and are committed to returning calls as soon as possible.
