Sarah completed her Master's degree in Somatic Counseling: Body Psychotherapy at Naropa University. Her work is grounded in a deep respect for the body's innate wisdom and the important role it plays in healing, growth, and emotional wellbeing.
She collaborates closely with clients to create a therapeutic experience that feels supportive, meaningful, and individualized. Guided by curiosity and compassion, Sarah helps clients reconnect with their intuition, strengthen their relationship with themselves, and develop greater awareness of the messages and wisdom held within the body.
Sarah is especially passionate about teaching practical tools for nervous system regulation, fostering secure attachment, and helping clients build greater trust in themselves and their relationships. She believes that healing often happens when people feel safe enough to explore their experiences with curiosity while learning to listen to and honor their own needs.
Prior to beginning her counseling training, Sarah built a rich foundation working with children and families as a kindergarten teacher, nanny, and trained birth doula. These experiences deepened her understanding of child development, family relationships, and the many joys and challenges that accompany caregiving and parenting.
Sarah is excited to continue expanding her skills through her practicum experience at Parent & Family Wellness Center while supporting individuals, families, and communities through an embodied and holistic approach to mental health care.
Outside of the therapy room, Sarah enjoys dancing, playing and listening to music, laughing with loved ones, and swimming in natural bodies of water whenever she has the opportunity.

Interested in Working with Sarah?
The first step to beginning care at Parent & Family Wellness Center is scheduling an intake appointment with one of our intake clinicians. During this appointment, they will take time to better understand your needs, goals, preferences, and areas of support so they can thoughtfully help match you with the best-fit therapist.
If you feel especially drawn to Sarah, you are always welcome to mention that during your intake appointment. If appropriate and availability allows, we will always do our best to honor those preferences.
We offer both in-person therapy in Boulder and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.
