Sarah completed her Master of Social Work and is honored to serve as a fellow at Parent & Family Wellness Center. Her passion for supporting women, mothers, and families began during her first career in nonprofit healthcare and has continued to grow through both professional experience and personal lived experience.

As a mother of two, Sarah's own journey through perinatal mood and anxiety disorders (PMADs) inspired her return to graduate school and her transition into the mental health field. These experiences deepened her understanding of the emotional realities many caregivers face and strengthened her commitment to helping parents feel less alone in their struggles.

Sarah cares deeply about normalizing the challenges of motherhood and reducing the stigma that often surrounds reproductive and maternal mental health. She believes that caregivers deserve support, understanding, and space to acknowledge both the joys and difficulties that accompany raising children.

Her work is rooted in the belief that healing often begins when people feel genuinely seen and supported. Sarah values the power of holding space, bearing witness, and walking alongside clients through difficult seasons of life with compassion and curiosity.

Beyond her work with individual clients, Sarah is passionate about creating broader systemic change that supports caregivers, parents, and families. She believes that healthier communities begin with supporting the people who care for others.

Outside of the therapy room, Sarah enjoys spending time with her children, exploring local parks, gardening, hiking in the mountains, sewing, and getting lost in a good romance novel. She is a proud second-generation Denverite and fifth-generation Coloradan.

If you feel especially drawn to Sarah, you are always welcome to mention that during your intake appointment. If appropriate and availability allows, we will always do our best to honor those preferences.

We offer both in-person therapy in Boulder and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.
