In addition to this clinical training, Payton has a deep passion for helping people navigate the unique challenges of the perinatal period, with a particular focus on serving BIPOC communities.
Payton’s commitment to providing compassionate care is backed by specialized training in perinatal mental health, grief counseling, and attachment-based therapies. Her approach is centered on creating a safe, inclusive, and empathetic space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Whether someone is adjusting to new parenthood, facing relationship challenges, or seeking to heal from loss, Payton is devoted to offering care that honors each person’s unique experiences and cultural background.
With an understanding that healing is a collaborative journey, Payton works alongside her clients to build resilience, strengthen connections, and empower them to move forward with confidence. She listens deeply, advocates passionately, and walks with her clients every step of the way.
Payton believes in the power of working together to navigate the complexities of life, ensuring that no one has to face their struggles alone. Her warm and supportive presence makes her a trusted partner on the path to emotional well-being.
Outside of work, self-care for Payton involves staying active and connected with the things that bring joy. She enjoys spending time in nature, whether hiking or simply taking a peaceful walk. Unwinding with a good book or playing fetch with her cat are also important aspects of her routine. These activities help Payton find balance, stay grounded, and be present in both her personal life and work.
Payton looks forward to navigating the therapeutic journey together with her clients.
