Their approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful healing occurs when people feel genuinely seen, heard, respected, and supported. Maciej strives to create affirming therapeutic relationships where clients can safely explore their identities, experiences, relationships, and personal growth with curiosity and compassion.
Rooted in Relational-Cultural and Person-Centered approaches, Maciej believes that authentic connection and positive regard can be powerful catalysts for healing. Their work integrates scientific research, evidence-based information, art-based mindfulness, psychosomatic education, and intuitive wisdom to provide comprehensive and individualized support.
Maciej's counseling interests include trauma, neurodivergence, reproductive journeys, underserved identities, and the unique experiences of Queer, Trans, BIPOC, and neurodivergent individuals and families. They are especially passionate about helping people navigate spaces where they have historically felt unseen, misunderstood, or unsupported.
As a queer, non-binary, autistic solo parent, Maciej brings a deeply informed perspective to their work. Their personal and professional framework is grounded in anti-racism, anti-oppression, harm reduction, reproductive justice, community care, mutual aid, and liberation-centered values. These principles help guide their commitment to creating therapeutic spaces where clients feel empowered, informed, and supported throughout their journey.
In addition to their counseling training, Maciej's background includes study in Neuro-Somatic Birth Psychology as well as training as both a birth doula and postpartum doula, providing a unique lens for supporting individuals and families through reproductive, parenting, and developmental transitions.
Outside of the therapy room, Maciej enjoys crafting and spending time with their two children, hiking, painting, meditating, playing video games, baking bread, and cuddling with Kellin Funshine, their beloved fur baby.
