Her experience includes working in emergency departments across the country, where she witnessed firsthand how mental health impacts every aspect of a person's life. These experiences continue to inform her holistic approach to psychiatric care and her commitment to treating each patient with compassion, curiosity, and respect.
For the past two years, Kate has been providing psychiatric care to adolescents and adults, helping clients navigate a wide range of mental health concerns through thoughtful assessment, medication management, and collaborative treatment planning.
Kate is especially passionate about supporting women throughout the lifespan and has a growing focus on perinatal mental health. She is currently pursuing certification in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International (PMH-C) to further expand her ability to support individuals navigating pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and the emotional complexities that can accompany reproductive transitions.
In addition to her psychiatric training, Kate is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), giving her additional insight into the experiences many families encounter during pregnancy, postpartum, feeding, and early parenthood.
