Jessica Wagner, LPCC
Staff Psychotherapist
She, Her, Hers
Psychotherapy fee: $160; Couples fee: $182.
Jessica brings a unique blend of academic insight, hands-on training, and heartfelt compassion to her role of psychotherapist at the Parent & Family Wellness Center. Jessica graduated from the Mindfulness-Based Transpersonal Counseling program at Naropa University and is dedicated to guiding individuals and families through the transformative journey of parenthood.
Jessica’s work is informed by her experience facilitating the "Postpartum Support Circle" at Sanctuary Doulas, where she developed a strong foundation in postpartum wellness and perinatal mental health. These experiences deepen her person-centered, Gestalt, and Internal Family Systems approach, allowing her to create a therapeutic space where clients can explore their inner world with curiosity, compassion, and a sense of empowerment. She incorporates a systems lens and IFS-informed prompts to help clients access self-leadership, break through stuck patterns, and discover the deeper layers of who they are.
Jessica has completed all levels of Gottman Method training and offers comprehensive, research-based support to couples. She works comfortably with monogamous, non-monogamous, and polyamorous relationships, adapting her approach to honor the structure and values of each partnership.
In addition to her perinatal work and couples therapy, she supports adults navigating the profound and complex experience of child loss. She approaches this work with deep reverence, offering space for grief, meaning-making, and emotional integration in a way that honors each person’s unique story and relationship to their child.
Jessica’s practice is further enriched by completing DONA International’s Birth Doula Training in 2022. This training strengthened her ability to hold emotional, physical, and spiritual support for expectant parents and affirmed her lifelong calling to walk alongside people during life’s most transformative moments.
Rooted in compassion, clarity, and a genuine love of her work, Jessica is committed to fostering a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering space for the Boulder community.
Outside of the therapy room, her self-care includes Zen meditation, making her morning lattes, rock climbing, hula-hoop dancing/ circus arts, baking sourdough bread, going to concerts, reading, hiking, swimming in Boulder Creek, and laughing with her beloved friends and family.
