Jennifer Rhodes, MD, PMH-C, is a board-certified psychiatrist specializing in reproductive psychiatry and women's mental health throughout the reproductive lifespan. Dr. Rhodes is a reproductive psychiatrist with a focus on supporting women throughout the reproductive lifecycle while also providing comprehensive psychiatric care for adults. She is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is licensed in both Colorado and New York.

She earned her Doctor of Medicine from Dartmouth Medical School in 2003 and completed her Psychiatry Residency at New York University in 2007, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she began her career as an attending psychiatrist in the psychiatric emergency department at Bellevue Hospital in New York City while simultaneously establishing a private practice.

Throughout her career, Dr. Rhodes has combined clinical excellence, academic leadership, and specialized expertise in women's mental health. She served as Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medical College while maintaining private practices in both Manhattan and Brooklyn.

After relocating to Boulder in 2019, Dr. Rhodes brought her expertise in reproductive psychiatry to Colorado, contributing her work at the Postpartum Wellness Center before returning to Parent & Family Wellness Center as a prescribing member of the clinical team.

Dr. Rhodes is passionate about helping individuals navigate the complex intersection of mental health, reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and family life. She understands that decisions regarding psychiatric medications during pregnancy, postpartum, breastfeeding, fertility treatment, and other reproductive transitions can feel overwhelming, and she works collaboratively with patients to create thoughtful, individualized treatment plans.

Her approach is grounded in evidence-based medicine, compassionate care, and respect for each patient's unique circumstances, goals, and values.
