Ashley is currently completing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a focus in mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling at Naropa University. She has a particular interest in mindfulness, relational therapy, couples work, self-compassion, and supporting clients through periods of meaningful change.

She has a special interest in working with adults, college students, pregnant and postpartum women, couples, parents, and teens as they navigate transitions in their relationships, identities, and daily lives. Ashley understands that even positive changes can bring uncertainty, anxiety, grief, or a sense of feeling disconnected from yourself. She helps clients slow down and make space for these experiences without judgment.

Grounded in a mindfulness and relationally centered approach, Ashley views therapy as a collaborative process. She believes that meaningful therapeutic work begins with trust, compassion, and a genuine relationship between therapist and client. Her work incorporates mindfulness practices that help clients become more aware of their emotions, connect with themselves in the present moment, and develop greater self-compassion.

Ashley integrates Gestalt therapy and mindfulness into her sessions by creating opportunities to pause, notice what is happening in the present moment, practice self-compassion, and explore new ways of responding to challenges. She believes that developing a deeper understanding of yourself can create greater flexibility, resilience, and clarity when navigating difficult or uncertain seasons of life.

Ashley also brings a relational focus to her work with couples. She studies the Gottman Approach and Emotionally Focused Therapy and is particularly interested in helping couples navigate communication, connection, and the changes that can accompany major life transitions, including pregnancy and parenthood.

Outside of the therapy room, Ashley enjoys hiking, backpacking with friends, walking in the mountains with her son, husband, and dog, writing, swimming, and practicing yoga. These activities help her stay connected to the mindfulness, presence, and balance she brings into her work with clients.
