Annie Floto is a compassionate therapist who is passionate about supporting children, caregivers, and families through the emotional complexities of the perinatal and postpartum transition. She is especially dedicated to helping children navigate challenges, process emotions, and develop healthy coping mechanisms when facing circumstances outside of their control.
Annie specializes in:
perinatal and postpartum mental health
child and family therapy
attachment-based therapy
emotional regulation
anxiety and stress
trauma-informed care
play therapy
expressive arts in therapy
parenting support
life transitions
Using a person-centered and attachment-focused approach, Annie strives to create a calming, supportive, and emotionally safe environment where clients feel genuinely understood and cared for. She believes each person’s story is deeply meaningful and that healing often begins when individuals feel truly seen, heard, and accepted without judgment.
Annie recognizes that every therapeutic journey is unique and works collaboratively with clients to honor their experiences, strengths, and emotional needs. When appropriate and desired, she enjoys incorporating art-making and creative expression into sessions as a way to help clients process emotions and experiences that may be difficult to put into words.
Her approach is gentle, relational, and grounded in the belief that meaningful connection can be transformative in the healing process. Annie is especially passionate about helping children and families build resilience, emotional awareness, and healthier ways of navigating stress and transition.
Outside of her clinical work, Annie finds peace and restoration in nature. She enjoys long walks while listening to audiobooks and spending time in the mountains with her partner and dog hiking, backpacking, and camping.

The first step to beginning care at Parent & Family Wellness Center is scheduling an intake appointment with one of our intake clinicians. During this appointment, they will take time to better understand your needs, goals, preferences, and areas of support so they can thoughtfully help match you with the best-fit therapist.
If you feel especially drawn to Annie, you are always welcome to mention that during your intake appointment. If appropriate and availability allows, we will always do our best to honor those preferences.
We offer both in-person therapy in Boulder and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.
