Kelsey believes that healing begins with understanding the ways our experiences, relationships, and coping strategies have shaped who we are. She works collaboratively with clients to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping them develop greater self-awareness and create meaningful change.
Her goal is to empower clients to move through suffering rather than remain stuck within it. Whether that suffering stems from trauma, difficult life experiences, or the challenges of everyday life, Kelsey believes each person possesses an innate capacity for growth, healing, and transformation. She strives to help clients reconnect with their inner courage and discover new ways of relating to themselves and the world around them.
Kelsey’s therapeutic style is grounded, nonjudgmental, and authentic. Clients often appreciate her calm presence, sense of humor, and willingness to talk openly about the difficult and often uncomfortable parts of life. She believes therapy should be a place where people can bring their full selves without fear of judgment.
Her counseling interests include neurodivergence, trauma, and supporting individuals from underserved or historically marginalized communities. She integrates contemplative psychotherapy, trauma-informed and neurodivergence-informed care, and DBT skills while tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs, strengths, and goals.
Before becoming a therapist, Kelsey spent years helping people through work as a private investigator and later within the federal government. These experiences deepened her understanding of human resilience, adversity, and the importance of advocacy. Both professionally and personally, she remains passionate about supporting individuals whose voices have too often gone unheard.
Outside of the therapy room, Kelsey enjoys hiking, reading, playing video games, working on her cars, skiing, laughing at her dogs, and embracing whatever adventures life brings.

The first step to beginning care at Parent & Family Wellness Center is scheduling an intake appointment with one of our intake clinicians. During this appointment, they will take time to better understand your needs, goals, preferences, and areas of support so they can thoughtfully help match you with the best-fit therapist.
If you feel especially drawn to Kelsey, you are always welcome to mention that during your intake appointment. If appropriate and availability allows, we will always do our best to honor those preferences.
We offer both in-person therapy in Boulder and virtual therapy throughout Colorado.
