Psychotherapy fee: $104.
David is currently completing his Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, with a concentration in Buddhism-Informed Contemplative Psychotherapy. In addition to this clinical training, David has served as a life coach, offering support to individuals and groups in one-on-one and retreat settings. David is passionate about mindfulness practices, meditation, and the facilitation of altered states of consciousness to catalyze psychological and spiritual healing. David has spent more than nine weeks collectively on various meditation retreats over the past several years. David lives by the motto that ‘community is medicine.’ Through his experiences facilitating groups and leading retreats, this phrase has become his North Star, and he is eager to bring that dedication to his work at PFWC. Working with David, clients may expect to experience a client-centered trauma informed approach with lasting impacts and tools that manifest deep self-love and healing.
David’s days are filled by keeping up with his two children and enjoying the journey of parenthood with his wife. David understands firsthand the whirlwind of emotions, challenges, and transformations that come with parenthood. His contemplative therapeutic training offers a grounded pathway to support clients through major life shifts, using mindfulness, meditation, integration framework and techniques to support their journey.
When he’s not working he enjoys being in nature and traveling with his family to places like Indonesia, Costa Rica, and Sicily.
