Postpartum Wellness Center is now Parent and Family Wellness Center–and we are growing!

After 15 years of serving new families as the Postpartum Wellness Center of Boulder, we’re proudly changing our name to the Parent & Family Wellness Center. This change reflects our longstanding work with parents and caregivers at every stage of their journey. Throughout Colorado and the world, our work supports  those struggling with postpartum challenges in addition to individuals' unique experiences with parenting.

Started in 2007 by Kate Kripke, Parent and Family Wellness Center is dedicated to the well-being of parents and their families; from reproduction, pregnancy, postpartum, and well beyond. All of our mental health and multidisciplinary providers have specialized training in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) and have the expertise and knowledge base to ensure that families have what they need to truly thrive.

While preventing or treating PMADs is a significant component of our work, our collaborative partners also provide holistic treatment such as lactation support, acupuncture, infant/child sleep consulting, naturopathic medicine, doula care, and massage. Our team knows that family life is full of twists and turns, and we have a multitude of resources to support parents and care-givers, so that they can offer the best of themselves to their children.

In April of 2023, Kate passed ownership to Noah Teitelbaum and Emily Horowitz, who had served as the Clinical Director for seven years. Emily and Noah have worked quickly to expand PFWC’s reach, starting robust collaborative care relationships with doctors throughout the Denver and Boulder area. Emily and her team of clinicians provide caring and thoughtful psychotherapy to parents and families, as well as parent coaching online and in person.

As a dedicated clinical supervisor,  Emily trains therapists across the United States on issues related to perinatal and early family therapy. Noah has worked at the intersection of education, business, and mental wellness and is responsible for PFWC’s business operations.
